Starting this Friday, March 20th, the products on our website will be purchased through Amazon. Instead of an "Add to Cart" button, the button will say, "Buy on Amazon," and clicking the link will take users to the respective product listing on Amazon.com, where the transaction will take place. If you do order our products on Amazon and enjoy using them, we would be eternally grateful if you take a moment to write a product review, so you can help spread the good word about your favorite BESTA products to others.
Now as to the reasons for this change. For one thing, BESTA is the definition of a boot-strapped small business in America. Sure, we have sold tens of thousands of belts and other accessories over the last four-and-a-half years, but there is still only one full-time employee, me, the founder and owner. When I say "we," I'm using what's sometimes called the "royal we" to refer to BESTA the brand and company. So, to the many customers who have called and emailed over the years, it has been my genuine pleasure to serve you personally. In the beginning, I even manually sewed every Betta Belt on a vintage Singer sewing machine. I still process 99% of the orders placed on our website, which is main the reason for the change. While BESTA lives on, I'll be starting a full-time corporate position shortly. As such, I won't have the bandwidth to pick, pack and ship orders, so will rely instead on Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA). Amazon has revolutionized ecommerce, and they offer secure transactions, very fast delivery and exceptional customer service. Your future orders will be in great hands with them. If you do not have or want an Amazon account, at this time we still sell most products through Walmart.com and eBay.
BESTA will continue to produce innovative gear and accessories that make people's lives that much better every day.
