PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

BESTA's top-of-the-line surfboard leash is made with the finest materials and construction methods. The 7mm thick urethane cord is very strong and durable, and this thickness is suitable for the widest range of surfing conditions, from knee-high waves to sets well overhead. This surf leash has two stainless steel swivels, allowing the cord to rotate freely and preventing it from getting kinked or tangled. The full-size ankle cuff is comfortably cushioned and fortified with thick neoprene and nylon material. The Velcro strip fastens the cuff securely to your ankle, and it has a pull loop to assist with removal. There is a hidden pocket under the bottom Velcro strip, so you can keep your car key with you instead of finding somewhere to stash it on land. The railsaver (which prevents the urethane cord from cutting into your surfboard) is three layers thick and has a Velcro release so you can switch leashes easily.

Surf Leash Sizes and How to Choose

This surfing leash is currently available in the two most common sizes: six and seven feet long. Six foot surf leashes are best suited for a surfboard between 5-7 feet in length, depending on preference. Seven foot surf leashes are best suited for a board 6-8 in length. As a general rule, select a leash about the same length as the surfboard you intend to use it for. Go a little shorter for less drag, or a little longer to put more distance beween you and the board when it's not under your control.

Surfboard Leashes for Different Situations

Every surfer needs the primary leash on their board, and ideally a backup leash in case the first happens to break, especially if going on a surf trip, where a suitable replacement may be hard to find. If you have a small wave shortboard, you'll probably want a six foot long leash for that. If you have a step-up board for bigger waves, then a seven foot long leash may be needed. At this time, we do not offer a longboard leash, but if your surfboard is over 8' long, we'd recommend getting a 9' leash.

This surfboard leash is 100% satisfaction guaranteed and warrantied against breakage or defects for a full year from date of purchase.
